I know the economy sucks and all and we do better than most, but I miss dinner dates!! Raleigh has some really good restaurants that I've been dying to try, but can't bring myself to go alone or worse, take someone else (another girl for whom I'd have to pay!) Not that I am cheap,lol.

I miss getting all dolled up and putting on sensuous perfume. I miss stepping into my stillettos and hoping that since my date didn't email me any any specs, he'll love what I am wearing.  I enjoy planning the date and enjoying the conversation. The flirting over wine. Even the drive over is sexy, as I  am usually listening to Diana Krall, Sade or something. It is so fun when my date is an old friend and thrilling when the chase is new!

I think what I miss is the nonrush of it all and the true GFE illusion. I get a bit lost in it,too!
